Radiology Imaging Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Radiology Imaging Specialist to join our team at Wellstar Health System, Inc. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diagnostic imaging and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Obtain and present clinical information to patients and families
- Position patients for procedures and ensure proper equipment setup
- Operate radiographic equipment safely and competently
- Produce high-quality images and maintain equipment in good working order
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
- Participate in quality control and patient safety initiatives
- Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Radiologic Technology
- ARRT Radiography certification
- Basic Life Support or BLS certification
- Less than 1 year of experience in radiology or a related field
- Experience working in a hospital or healthcare setting
- Knowledge of anatomy and pathology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
