Job Title: Behavior Technician

At Kennedy Care, we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavior Technician to join our team. As a Behavior Technician, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality ABA therapy to children with autism.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and empathetic individual to work with our team of Board-Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to deliver evidence-based ABA services to children with autism. As a Behavior Technician, you will be responsible for implementing behavioral plans, collecting data, and communicating with caregivers and BCBAs to ensure the best possible outcomes for our clients.

Responsibilities:
  • Implement behavioral plans in a 1:1 setting with children with autism
  • Collect data accurately to ensure the effectiveness of treatment
  • Communicate proactively and timely with BCBAs, caregivers, and/or legal guardians
  • Calmly respond to unexpected behaviors independently and appropriately
  • Maintain confidentiality according to HIPAA guidelines
  • Complete assigned training and education as necessary
Requirements:
  • 18 years of age or older
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Reliable transportation
  • RBT Certification (Preferred)
  • Valid Michigan Drivers License (Required)
  • Must pass a background check
