Job Summary

The Occupational Therapist provides high-quality, patient-centered care by managing the complete process of occupational therapeutic care of an assigned group of patients, in coordination with the physician and the patient care team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluates patients and develops care plans to treat patients.
  • Provides or directs a majority of the patients' physical therapy to support patients throughout home health and the continuum of care.
  • Teaches and mentors other staff and participates in the management of resources for patient care and organizational improvement.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Therapy.
  • Current North Carolina license to practice Occupational Therapy.
  • None required; new graduate eligible.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Clinical affiliations having a wide variety of acute care procedures, especially orthopedics, neurology, cardiopulmonary, and care of burns/open wounds are helpful.
