Nurse Practitioner

Banyan Treatment Centers is seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team in providing comprehensive care to patients struggling with addiction and mental health issues.

• Conduct thorough nursing assessments to identify patient needs and develop individualized treatment plans
• Administer routine care and medications as required, while maintaining accurate and detailed documentation
• Collaborate with medical providers to oversee the medical and psychiatric management of patients
• Facilitate medication education and ensure patients understand their treatment plans
• Integrate nursing and medical considerations into patient treatment plans
• Ensure meticulous nursing documentation adhering to facility and State requirements

• Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of Illinois
• Nursing Diploma or Degree from an accredited school of Nursing
• Knowledge of principles and practices of the discipline, including Healthcare Code of Ethics and Joint Commission Standards
• Experience in acute care, detox, and/or mental health facilities
• Strong assessment and organizational skills, with excellent interpersonal communication and active listening skills
