The Occupational Therapist will utilize professional knowledge and behaviors to evaluate and treat patients with various physical, educational, or psychosocial disabilities. This role requires effective communication with patients, family members, and team members as needed. The successful candidate will perform necessary documentation and patient/family education, per division protocols. Additionally, they will supervise COTA/L, volunteer, or student per OT regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Evaluate and assess patients with physical, educational, or psychosocial disabilities.
2. Communicate effectively with patients, family members, and team members.
3. Perform necessary documentation and patient/family education.
4. Supervise COTA/L, volunteer, or student per OT regulations.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree, Master's degree, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy.
2. Certification by National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy and current Ohio state licensure.
3. 3 to 5 years of relevant experience preferred.
4. None years of experience supervising.
