Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect and clean medical instruments to ensure they are free from debris and contamination
  • Prepare and sterilize instruments using various methods, including autoclaving and chemical sterilization
  • Inventory and document instrument quantities to ensure accurate tracking and ordering
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure timely delivery of sterilized instruments
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to strict infection control protocols

Requirements:

  • SPD Technician Certification (CSPDT or CRCST) or eligibility
  • 6-12 months of experience in a sterile processing environment
  • Basic computer skills and ability to learn new software
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull heavy equipment and instruments
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
