Pioneers Memorial Hospital is seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will play a critical role in performing routine to complex nuclear medicine procedures, utilizing radioactive materials and pharmaceuticals in accordance with established guidelines and protocols.
Key Responsibilities- Perform radionuclide imaging of organs, organ systems, and physiologic functions, as well as assays of body fluids and tissues.
- Apply knowledge of Nuclear Medicine imaging and principles of radiation safety to achieve high-quality images.
- Prepare and position patients for procedures, following established protocols to ensure optimal image quality.
- Communicate patient information to radiologists and educate patients on procedures.
- Enter complex data into computer systems and review images for technical quality.
- Covid-19 vaccination and booster required.
- Shift times: 7am-3:30pm.
