Job Title: Nuclear Medicine Radiologist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Nuclear Medicine Radiologist to join our dynamic team at Rutgers University. As a Nuclear Medicine Radiologist, you will be responsible for interpreting diagnostic imaging studies, including single photon planar, SPECT-CT, and PET-CT scans, as well as performing radioactive therapeutic procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Interpret diagnostic imaging studies, including single photon planar, SPECT-CT, and PET-CT scans
  • Perform radioactive therapeutic procedures, including radioiodine therapy for benign and malignant thyroid disease and other radioactive therapies for malignancy
  • Provide consultation for and perform radioactive therapeutic procedures

Requirements:

  • MD or DO degree
  • ABR certification in Diagnostic Radiology
  • Dedicated training in nuclear medicine, including current certification in nuclear medicine by the American Board of Nuclear Medicine or current certification or active participation in the examination process leading to certification in Radiology by the American Board of Radiology or the American Osteopathic Board of Radiology
