Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Mobile Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Green Meadows Home Health Care. As a Mobile Radiologic Technologist, you will be responsible for operating portable digital radiography equipment and sending images to physicians for interpretation. You will also assess and observe patients for adverse reactions during procedures, prepare patients for procedures, and explain procedures to patients.

Responsibilities:

• Operate portable digital radiography equipment and send images to physicians for interpretation
• Assess and observe patients for adverse reactions during procedures
• Prepare patients for procedures
• Explain procedures to patients and assist them during procedures
• Follow prescribed techniques in administering general and specific x-rays, adjusts equipment, determines proper voltage, current, and desired exposure time, arranges immobilization and support devices to obtain position of patient, adjust lead shields to protect unaffected parts of the patient's body, adjusts cone to direct concentration of rays on specific area
• Troubleshoots and reports equipment problems to supervisor
• Drive company vehicle to service locations
• Perform EKGs and deliver report to physician for interpretation
• Collect and scan medical documents for billing purposes
• Operate laptop computer and cell phone for communication with dispatch
• Maintain company vehicle and equipment
• Represent company in a professional and courteous manner
• Train other employees as needed

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Valid radiology state license (CRT) from California
• ARRT Certification preferred
• Valid driver's license in California with Clean DMV record

Physical Demands:

• Lifting and carrying objects up to 50 pounds
• Loading equipment into vehicle using ramps
• Reaching
• Stooping/bending
• Kneeling/crouching
• Pushing/pulling
• Frequent walking
• Frequent computer work
• Frequent use of telephone and fax
