Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team as a Private Duty Nurse. As a Private Duty Nurse, you will be responsible for providing one-on-one care to patients in their homes, working closely with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement personalized care plans.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide high-quality, patient-centered care in accordance with physician orders and Aveanna's policies and procedures.
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs, and develop and implement individualized care plans to meet those needs.
- Administer medications, perform wound care, and provide other nursing interventions as needed.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current on best practices and industry developments.
- Current LPN licensure in good standing.
- 6 months of experience as a practicing nurse (new graduates welcome to apply).
- CPR certification (BLS).
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform physical demands of the job.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
