Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dining Services Manager to join our team at Senior Lifestyle. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our dining rooms, ensuring a high-quality dining experience for our residents.
Key Responsibilities
- Operations Management
- Supervise the daily operation of dining rooms, room service, and convenience stores.
- Ensure timely and proper delivery of room service orders.
- Coordinate the smooth and timely opening of dining rooms.
- Staff Management
- Assist in producing weekly schedules with budgetary guidelines for service staff.
- Ensure adequate staffing levels for each shift and cover absences.
- Lead the training of new dining room employees.
- Quality Control
- Oversee resident billing of food service charges.
- Manage dining staff and ensure high-quality food presentation and cleanliness of kitchen and dining areas.
Requirements
- 6+ months of previous food service experience.
- Management experience is a plus.
- ServSafe and/or other required local, county, or state certifications.
- Ability to multitask and switch tasks quickly.
- Positive and professional attitude with excellent communication skills.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
