Job Summary

CN Guidance and Counseling Services is seeking a highly skilled Staff Psychiatrist to join our team. As a key member of our mental health services, you will provide comprehensive psychiatric care to patients with a range of mental health conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including psychiatric examinations, diagnostic evaluations, and treatment planning.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, incorporating medication management and psychotherapy as needed.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Conduct regular progress notes and treatment plan reviews to monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
  • Ensure timely and accurate documentation of patient records, including psychiatric evaluations, progress notes, and treatment plans.
Requirements
  • Medical degree from an accredited medical school.
  • Completion of an approved psychiatric residency program.
  • Current licensure to practice medicine in New York State.
  • Board certification in psychiatry preferred.
  • Suboxone certification required.
