The Admissions Nurse Representative at Bethany Home Inc plays a vital role in promoting our services and philosophy to patients and families, ultimately leading to the admission of suitable candidates. Responsibilities
This role involves participating in the admissions process by gathering information, analyzing data, educating patients and families, and completing form submissions. You will also evaluate patients for suitability, review medical records as needed, and obtain consent from referred patients and their families who meet our admission criteria. Furthermore, you will build strong relationships with referral sources, maintain clinical competence, and develop effective connections with internal colleagues and admissions personnel.
Requirements
To excel in this position, you should possess knowledge of the intake, admission, and transition to care process, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders. Your understanding of clinical manifestations of diseases and development of Bethany-specific clinical knowledge will enable you to make informed decisions and create comprehensive care plans. Additionally, proficiency in using our information system and mobile technology platforms is essential for success in this role.
