Custodial Worker

This position is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of facilities, including offices, storerooms, corridors, stairways, and other areas. The successful candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team to ensure a safe and healthy environment for employees and visitors.

• Clean and maintain floors, walls, and other surfaces using various cleaning equipment and supplies.
• Dust and polish furniture and fixtures.
• Empty trash and recyclables, and replace liners in waste receptacles.
• Restock supplies and materials as needed.
• Perform seasonal tasks such as applying ice control material, shoveling snow, and mowing grass.

• No previous experience or training is required, but the ability to follow oral and/or written instructions is essential.
• Ability to use hand or lightweight powered cleaning tools and equipment.
• Physical ability to stand, bend, stoop, and reach for extended periods.

This is a non-appropriated fund (NAF) position carrying out morale, welfare, and recreation (MWR) activities for the Air Force and Space Force. This position is included in a bargaining unit.
