About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Helms Home Care. As an Infusion Therapy Specialist, you will provide high-quality patient care and education to individuals in their homes.

Responsibilities
  • Perform catheter access and care, including peripheral IVs, port-a-caths, PICC/central lines, and vitals/assessments
  • Administer medications, including antibiotics, total parenteral nutrition, and other specialty medications
  • Provide patient education on self-administration of medication
  • Make visit notes through electronic charting and submit promptly
Requirements
  • Current Registered Nurse license with experience in infusion therapy and/or catheter maintenance and care
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in infusion therapy and/or catheter maintenance and care
  • Reliable transportation and access to a printer/scanner/fax machine
  • Ability to communicate promptly with our scheduling personnel
  • Expect to do 2 visits per week
  • Licensed driver with valid automobile insurance
