Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at Soliant. As a Speech Therapist for a school district near the Portland area, you will have the opportunity to work with students of various ages and abilities, providing individualized speech therapy services to help them achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments of students' speech and language abilities to identify areas of strength and weakness.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure students receive the support they need to succeed.
  • Monitor and track student progress towards IEP goals, making adjustments as needed to ensure students are meeting their objectives.
  • Provide speech therapy services in individual or small group settings, using evidence-based practices and techniques to promote student growth and development.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of evaluations, progress notes, and communication with teachers, parents, and other professionals.
  • Collaborate with teachers and staff to integrate speech goals into classroom activities, ensuring a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational goal setting, working closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure students receive the support they need to succeed.
Requirements
  • Current Oregon State License as a Speech Language Pathologist.
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent.
  • PDE Teaching Certificate.
  • Previous school-based experience preferred, but not required.
