Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support to imaging technologists as needed, ensuring seamless workflow and efficient patient care.
  • Adhere to established protocols, QA guidelines, and regulatory requirements to maintain the highest standards of patient care and safety.
  • Interact effectively with patients and care providers, prioritizing procedures to ensure continuity of care and a high level of patient satisfaction.
  • Rotate within departments and clinics to ensure proper coverage and adapt to changing patient needs.
  • Assist radiologists and medical professionals in invasive and fluoroscopic procedures, utilizing equipment to pinpoint anatomical locations.
  • Maintain exam rooms in a clean and organized state, adhering to Infection Control standards and ensuring compliance.
  • Adapt patient assessment, treatment, and care methods to accommodate unique patient needs, prioritizing confidentiality and patient-centered care.
  • Demonstrate adherence to CHRISTUS Health's Core values and maintain confidentiality of patient information.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology or equivalent.
  • 1-3 years of experience in a hospital setting, preferred.
  • Current registration from The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
  • Current state licensure.
  • Current BLS (American Heart Association) certification.
