**Job Summary**
We are seeking a skilled Primary Care Physician to join our team at Community Health Connections in Massachusetts.
About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity for a compassionate and dedicated physician to provide high-quality primary care services to individuals and families across the lifespan. As a Primary Care Physician, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive medical care, including obstetrical care, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Provide primary care services to patients of all ages, including routine check-ups, health screenings, and chronic disease management.
- Collaborate with nurse practitioners and clinical psychologists to deliver comprehensive patient care.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, and develop treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
- Refer patients to specialists or other healthcare services as necessary.
- Direct and coordinate the activities of nursing and support staff to ensure efficient and effective patient care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, adhering to confidentiality and data protection policies.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices and advancements in medical care.
Requirements:
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
- Current licensure to practice medicine in Massachusetts.
- Board certification in Family Medicine or a related specialty.
- At least 2 years of experience in primary care or a related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
