- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective care plans, utilizing evidence-based practices and guidelines.
- Conduct thorough assessments, identify patient needs, and develop individualized care plans to meet those needs.
- Administer medications, treatments, and other interventions as prescribed by physicians, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.
- Monitor patient vital signs, including ECGs, and report any abnormalities or concerns to the healthcare team.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of best practices.
- NC license
- Minimum 1 year experience as a Telemetry Specialist
- Travel experience required
- Skills: 1 year MedSurg
- BLS
- ACLS preferred
- Telemetry Experience preferred
- Unit: 106-10-CNRO MS/Tele Float - Electronic
- Shift: 12hr NIGHTS
- 36 ONLY
- Will accept 13-26 week contracts
- Float Requirement: Yes, traveler will work with the CNRO (Centralized Resource Nursing Pool). Candidates will float all medical/Surgical floors.
- Patient Diagnoses: Floating between several medical, surgical, and telemetry units. Assisting in caring for patients held in our ED who are inpatient.
- Special Procedures/Unit Details: Contract staff may be required to care for patients with COVID. During times of increased census, typical ratios may be higher. Contract staff will be assigned and expected to work a Storm Team and/or Hurricane Team. Contract staff may be required to report to work during a catastrophic event, mass casualty, or disaster. Consolidation to the Centralized Office mid-contract may occur, and the contract staff may be preassigned to units as needed.
