Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Behavioral Technician to join our team at Newman-Crows Landing Unified. As a Behavioral Technician, you will play a critical role in supporting students with special needs and promoting a positive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement behavioral interventions and support strategies to promote student success
  • Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other support staff to develop and implement individualized behavior plans
  • Provide one-on-one support to students with behavioral challenges
  • Monitor and record student behavior, progress, and interventions
  • Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements
  • Current RBT certification or certification by the end of the school year
  • 48 units of college or an AA degree, or meet NCLB requirements
  • Pass the Cooperative Organization for the Development of Employee Section Procedures (CODESP) or have equivalent experience
  • Required fingerprinting and TB test
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with students with special needs
  • Knowledge of behavioral interventions and support strategies
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
