Job Summary:

Casa Central seeks a compassionate and experienced Child and Family Services Specialist to join its team. This role requires a Master's degree in Social Work or a related field, with prior experience in clinical social work highly desirable. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with children and families impacted by violence and trauma.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Caseload Management: Maintain a caseload of 12-15 clients and their families, conducting timely intakes, gathering comprehensive data sets, and monitoring program waitlists.
  • Crisis Intervention and Safety Planning: Implement timely crisis intervention and safety planning strategies to support survivors of domestic abuse, linking them with appropriate resources and services.
  • Counseling Services: Provide individual, family, and/or group counseling services according to best practices and evidence-based treatment approaches, with a particular focus on Child Parent Psychotherapy.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain required documentation on services, ensuring compliance with agency and funder requirements, including Medicaid/Part 132/Part 140 service delivery.
  • Program Evaluation: Prepare monthly and quarterly reports on services and program activities for the agency, funders, and other stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work or a related field.
  • Master's degree in Social Work or a related field preferred.
  • At least 2 years of experience in clinical social work, with a focus on child and family services.
  • Knowledge of Child Parent Psychotherapy and evidence-based treatment approaches.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with children and families.
