Pharmacy Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Walgreens. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy department, providing exceptional customer service, and supporting our pharmacists in their daily tasks.

• Assist pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of medications, including counting, measuring, and labeling.
• Process prescriptions, including verifying patient information, checking for potential interactions, and ensuring accurate medication dispensing.
• Provide exceptional customer service, answering questions, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
• Maintain accurate records, including patient information, medication inventory, and pharmacy operations data.
• Collaborate with pharmacists and other team members to ensure seamless pharmacy operations and achieve business objectives.

• High school diploma or equivalent required; PTCB certification preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail, with the ability to accurately process prescriptions and maintain accurate records.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service.
• Basic computer skills, with the ability to learn and utilize pharmacy software and systems.
