We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Northeast Georgia Health System. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the overall success of our healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities- Provide nursing care to assigned patient populations under the direction of the Registered Nurse.
- Organize patient care and set priorities while assisting with the provision of patient care as established within the framework of the Georgia Board of Nursing Nurse Practice Act.
- Assist with data collection and provide feedback to the Registered Nurse from a variety of sources to enhance clinical decisions about treatments and nursing interventions.
- Participate in quality improvement activities and assist to achieve unit-specific nurse-sensitive indicators and other indicators being monitored.
- Deliver care that is non-judgmental, sensitive, and culturally competent.
- Current State LPN License.
- High School Diploma or GED and LPN diploma and Licensure.
- New graduate LPNs or those with less than one year of experience will be referred to the LPN residency program.
- Previous experience in a clinical setting is preferred, with a minimum of 2 years experience preferred but not required.
- Preferred Licensure or other certifications.
- Preferred Educational Requirements.
- Preferred Experience: Previous experience in a clinical setting.
