We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Patient Care Services - Acute Rehabilitation to join our team at Hackensack Meridian Health. Key Responsibilities- Budget Development and Management: Collaborate with senior management to develop and manage departmental budgets, ensuring effective allocation of resources and efficient utilization of hospital facilities, equipment, and supplies.
- Staff Management and Development: Ensure that the department has an adequate number of qualified and competent staff to meet organizational needs. Assist in staffing strategies, interview and hire managers, and ensure that staff are competent and meet the organization's standards.
- Quality Improvement: Participate in setting priorities for performance improvement and promote a culture of continuous quality improvement. Establish performance goals based on customer requirements and benchmarks, and evaluate the effectiveness of performance improvement initiatives.
- Leadership and Collaboration: Provide effective and efficient leadership to the areas of responsibility and participate in the organization's strategic and operational processes. Collaborate with senior management to plan, direct, implement, coordinate, and improve services.
- Policy Development and Implementation: Develop and implement policies and procedures that guide and support the provision of services, and review and revise policies and procedures as identified.
- Education and Experience: Graduate of an approved School of Nursing, Master's degree in Nursing or a related field, and a minimum of five years of previous management experience.
- Licenses and Certifications: NJ State Professional Registered Nurse License.
