Position Summary

We are in search of a Senior Financial Analyst to join our team. This role will report directly to the Senior Finance Manager and will be pivotal in supporting the financial operations of our largest factory in the West Region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Controller in overseeing financial management across multiple factory locations.
  • Ensure accurate financial reporting, controls, and analysis.
  • Manage the Period End Close process, including the preparation of financial statements and detailed analysis of financial performance.
  • Evaluate material forecasts and analyze variances in Profit and Loss statements, collaborating with operational leaders to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Monitor labor costs and operational expenditures using effective measurement tools.
  • Support the annual budget process by collaborating with operations to create a detailed financial plan aligned with business strategies.
  • Oversee monthly forecasts, articulating changes and their drivers to regional leadership.
  • Exhibit strong leadership and interpersonal skills to influence business decisions positively.
  • Contribute to the leadership team by providing strategic insights and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Work with the Controller to maintain compliance with internal controls and develop new requirements as necessary.
  • Assist in managing inventory by identifying risks and ensuring proper accounting for slow-moving items.
  • Oversee general accounting functions, including accounts payable and payroll, as they relate to production.
  • Calculate and report on key performance indicators to summarize business performance.
  • Utilize problem-solving methodologies to lead continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field.
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in Operations, Manufacturing, or Six Sigma projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with operational leaders to achieve business objectives.
  • Adaptability to work in a dynamic environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, and ERP systems.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage large data sets.
  • Background in controls and cost accounting is preferred.
  • Willingness to relocate for future career opportunities is a plus.
Compensation

The base salary for this position is competitive and commensurate with experience. Additionally, this role is eligible for an annual bonus based on performance.
