Position Overview

The Facility Sanitation Technician plays a crucial role in executing cleaning duties as outlined in our service agreements with clients. This position requires the individual to promptly communicate any concerns or irregularities to the designated supervisor or manager.

Part-time Schedule: 2 days per week (Tues & Fri), 1.5 hours each day (3 hours total weekly)

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage waste disposal and recycling processes
  • Dust, wipe, and perform spot cleaning on various surfaces
  • Conduct vacuuming, mopping, and wet-mopping in assigned areas
  • Ensure thorough cleaning of restrooms using appropriate disinfectants and cleaning agents, restock supplies, empty trash, clean fixtures, mirrors, and dispensers, and maintain floor cleanliness
  • Verify that all lights are turned off and secure doors before exiting an area
  • Organize and maintain the cleanliness of supply storage areas
  • Execute any additional tasks as directed by the supervisor

Qualifications

A High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred, along with reliable transportation to ensure consistent attendance. Candidates should be capable of meeting the physical demands of the role and must successfully complete a background check and drug screening as required.
