Job Description

The Childhood Advocate Professional will work closely with children, youth, and families to provide support, case management, and behavioral coaching. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide supportive and case management services to children and youth, including mentoring, coaching, and behavioral support.
  • Develop and implement strength-based treatment plans that meet the unique needs of each child and family.
  • Work collaboratively with other professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all services provided.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance knowledge and skills.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A degree in human services or a related field and/or relevant experience working with children and families in a mental health/social service setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with children, youth, and families.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Bilingual Spanish skills are strongly preferred.
Compensation

We offer a competitive salary of $60,000 - $70,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits and opportunities for professional growth and development.
