Imaging Technologist Job Description

SimonMed Imaging LLC is seeking a skilled Imaging Technologist to join our team. As an Imaging Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Arrange patients for radiological and/or DEXA examinations
  • Produce radiographs to aid in the diagnosis of medical problems
  • Prevent patient exposure to unnecessary radiation
  • Set up and use diagnostic equipment for exam completion
  • Work under immediate supervision and rely on instructions and pre-established guidelines
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma
  • Completion of a formal radiologic technology training program
  • Registration as a Radiologic Technologist by the A.R.R.T.
  • Registration as a Certified Radiologic Technologist by the State
  • Valid "hands-on" CPR certification
Physical Demands:

This position requires duties including lifting and carrying up to 40 pounds, sitting for prolonged periods, and frequent standing and walking. Good visual and auditory acuity, as well as good manual dexterity, are essential.
