Production Manager Opportunity

A leading manufacturer is seeking a highly skilled Production Manager to oversee production operations and lead a team of professionals. In this key role, you will be responsible for managing staff, materials, production schedules, and reviewing productivity with the Production, Operations, and Leadership Team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Directly oversee multiple departments and their respective Supervisors, Team Leads, and Production Schedulers.
  • Schedule day-to-day assignments and ensure execution of communicated priorities.
  • Provide hands-on leadership and training to production team members.
  • Lead, motivate, and support the production team.
  • Oversee employee training assignments, ensuring training compliance.
  • Ensure the accuracy of all documentation through periodic reviews throughout the production process.
  • Maintain a culture of safety, quality, and compliance.
  • Continually review workflow to improve efficiencies of the production line.
  • Perform other projects and duties as assigned by the Plant Manager for the overall benefit of the organization.
  • Present weekly to company leadership department's KPI's, schedule misses and reasons why, improvement projects, etc.
  • Owns the Gemba walk of the departments – enables growth of supervisors to present key topics.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of related experience required, preferably in a similar Production Manager or Management role.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field highly preferred.
  • Strong communication skills with proven track record of successful leadership.
  • Proficient in conflict resolution, assessing needs and making decisions.
  • Well-versed with Microsoft Office and ERP Systems.
