Focus Staff is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Critical Care Unit Registered Nurse to join our team on a contract basis.

Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Critical Care Unit Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced ICU environment.

Responsibilities
  • Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care to ensure optimal health outcomes.
  • Supervise and coordinate the care provided by professional and ancillary personnel.
  • Develop and implement individualized patient care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
  • Provide education and support to patients and families to promote health and wellness.
  • Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
Requirements
  • Current State License.
  • Minimum of one-year experience in Critical Care in an acute care hospital within the last three years required.
  • Completion of AHA ACLS Provider Course within 12 months of employment required.
  • CCRN preferred.
  • Experience with high acuity CCU/ICU/ER medical/surgical patients is preferred.
  • Associate's Degree or BSN required.
Work Environment

This is a contract position with a duration of 13 weeks. The shift will be 3x12 nights, and the pay package will be based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week, with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
