Job SummaryWe are seeking a compassionate and patient Caregiver Direct Support Professional to join our team at REM West Virginia. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with autism and other complex needs in their daily lives.
Key Responsibilities- Provide personal care and support to individuals with autism and other disabilities
- Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Support individuals with developmental goals, such as budgeting, dental hygiene, exercise, and nutrition
- Encourage participation in community activities and hobbies
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 6 months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination
- Valid driver's license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Competitive hourly rate of $13.50
- On-demand pay options
- Full benefits package for employees working 30+ hours/week, including a 401(k) with a 3% company match
