Job Opportunity

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team at Conservatory at Plano, a thriving Discovery Senior Living community.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our community, including apartment homes, common areas, lounges, and offices. This will involve sweeping, dusting, and wet mopping floors, as well as cleaning and sanitizing fixtures and facilities.

Responsibilities

  • Perform cleaning duties according to schedule in assigned areas.
  • Sweep, dust, and wet mop all floors and stairways.
  • Clean and sanitize lavatory, shower, and sink fixtures and facilities.
  • Collect trash and refuse from work areas and place in designated pick-up areas.
  • Responsible for collecting, cleaning, and redistributing community laundry.
  • Ensure cleaning chemicals are kept stored and locked when not in use.
  • Report any needed repairs and supply and equipment needs to the Lead Housekeeper.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous housekeeping experience preferred.
  • Ability to communicate effectively speaking the primary language (English) of the residents.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and operating instructions.
  • Must demonstrate an interest in working with a senior population.
