Job Overview

As an Assistant Director of Nursing, you will play a key role in assisting with the direction and administration of patient care for our specialty pharmacy. This position requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities.

Responsibilities
  • Patient Care: Direct patient care as needed, including start of care calls, post-infusion surveys, and teaching medication self-injection.
  • Nursing Administration: Review and approve nursing notes and invoices, report infusion issues, side effects, and missed doses to pharmacists and MDs.
  • Staff Management: Effectively manage staffing coordinators and travel to patient locations to perform care as needed.
Requirements
  • Education: BSN degree required, Multi-State Nursing License required.
  • Experience: Specialty pharmacy experience required, AlayaCare, CPR+, and Citrus Health experience preferred.
