Job Summary

As a Mental Health Professional, you will provide comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, and treatment services for adult and child members presenting with a range of mental health needs. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans, ensuring high-quality care and effective outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement clinical treatment programs for members with acute or chronic mental illness
  • Provide individual, family, and group psychotherapy sessions
  • Conduct assessments, diagnoses, and treatment planning in accordance with DSM-V guidelines
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
  • Participate in staff conferences and departmental program development
Requirements
  • Masters degree in Social Work, Social Welfare, or related field from an accredited institution
  • Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in California
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of evidence-based practices, psychotherapy research methods, and bio-psycho-social functions contributing to mental health
  • Ability to work in a Labor/Management Partnership environment
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous post-license experience as a member of a psychiatric treatment team
  • Experience with crisis intervention, individual, and group psychotherapy
  • Professional maturity and ethical integrity necessary for assuming professional responsibilities
