Job Title: RN - OR/Circ

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Operating Room/Circulating Registered Nurse to join our team at a top-rated hospital in Scranton, Pennsylvania. This 13-week travel nursing assignment offers a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and make a meaningful impact on patient care.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in the operating room, working closely with an interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless patient flow and optimal outcomes. As a travel nurse, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of patients, develop your skills, and gain valuable experience in a dynamic and challenging environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care in the operating room, including pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative care.
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure accurate and timely patient preparation and positioning.
  • Monitor and manage patient vital signs, medications, and other medical interventions as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient care and satisfaction.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and advancements in the field.

Requirements:

  • Current RN licensure in the state of Pennsylvania.
  • 1-2 years of recent experience in the operating room or a related field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in new environments.
