Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Produce Sales Associate to join our team at Weis Markets. As a key member of our produce department, you will be responsible for ensuring our customers receive exceptional service and experience while shopping for fresh produce.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a clean and well-stocked produce department, ensuring high-quality products are available to customers.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Assist in building attractive displays and maintaining a visually appealing store environment.
  • Accurately complete product logs and handle spoiled and damaged product according to company policy.
  • Responsible for general sanitation in the department, adhering to cleaning schedules and department guidelines.
  • Assist in minimizing shrink and controlling damages, reporting shortages and overages to management.
  • May assist with receiving, unloading, and storing deliveries, as well as baling cardboard and other related duties.
  • Ensure smooth operation of the department and store by cooperating with coworkers and superiors.
Requirements
  • Completed or working towards a High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
  • No prior experience required, but a willingness to learn and grow with our company is essential.
