Job Title: Senior Water/Wastewater Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Water/Wastewater Engineer to join our team in Jacksonville, Florida.

Job Summary:

The Senior Water/Wastewater Engineer will play a critical role in leading and managing water/wastewater projects from inception through completion, ensuring high-quality deliverables that meet client expectations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead project planning efforts from procurement through execution and closeout phases, ensuring efficient project execution and achievement of project goals.
  • Manage, plan, and provide design oversight for water/wastewater projects, ensuring technical excellence and adherence to project requirements.
  • Prepare and monitor project budgets, maintain control of work-in-progress, and ensure accurate client billings.
  • Successfully manage project delivery to meet established timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Participate in all phases of project construction, including pre-bid conferences, bid evaluations, contract preparation, and construction oversight.
  • Engage in pre-project meetings, client presentations, and interviews to secure new project opportunities.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, mechanical engineering, or related field.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) registration in the state of Florida.
  • Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in water/wastewater engineering.
  • Strong knowledge of Florida water/wastewater specifications, policies, and procedures.
  • Proven track record in managing and delivering complex water/wastewater projects on time and within budget.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with clients, stakeholders, and project teams.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities and experience in mentoring junior staff.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in engineering or related field.
  • Experience with relevant software applications for water/wastewater design and analysis.
  • Active involvement in professional organizations related to water/wastewater engineering.
