Job Description

We're seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team at Phoenix Holdings. As a key member of our accounting team, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, processing payroll, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate and detailed financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger
  • Process payroll and ensure timely payment to employees
  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients and internal stakeholders
  • Assist with financial analysis and reporting, including budgeting and forecasting
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of bookkeeping experience, preferably in a fast-paced environment
  • 2+ years of payroll experience, with a strong understanding of payroll laws and regulations
  • Advanced knowledge of accounting software, including QuickBooks
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and internal stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex financial issues
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a restaurant or food service industry
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Word
  • Certification in bookkeeping or accounting, such as QuickBooks Certified User or Certified Bookkeeper
