About the Role

UF Health is seeking a highly skilled Cardiovascular Technologist to join our team at Leesburg Hospital. As a Cardiovascular Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our cardiovascular program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor procedures, including diagnostic and interventional coronary and peripheral catheterization studies, to ensure safe patient care.
  • Work as a scrub assistant during procedures, providing support to the medical team.
  • Collaborate with the Director and other team members to ensure seamless patient care and efficient workflow.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest cardiovascular technologies and techniques.
Requirements
  • Associate's Degree in Cardiovascular Technology, Radiologic Technology, or Respiratory Therapy.
  • Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) Certification or Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) Certification within 12 months of hire.
  • FL Certified Radiologic Technologist license with valid American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Certification or FL Registered Respiratory Therapist license with valid American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Certification.
  • BLS and ACLS certifications.
