Caregiver for Elderly Gentleman with Parkinsons Disease

We are seeking a compassionate and patient caregiver to join our team at Aging Kingdom Homecare. As a caregiver, you will be working closely with an elderly gentleman who has Parkinsons disease, high fall risk, prostate cancer, and high blood pressure. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting him with bathing, showering, and getting ready for bed, as well as reminding him to take his medications. You will also need to be good at talking to people, solving problems, and being flexible. If you have experience working with clients with Parkinsons before, that's a plus.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must have a high school diploma or GED, one year of full-time experience in personal care or an institutional setting, or evidence of sympathetic attitude toward elderly care. You must also be able to read, write, and carry out directions, demonstrate maturity and ability to deal effectively with job demands, and have good verbal and written communication skills. Additionally, you must participate in professional meetings when directed, be able to work closely supervised to ensure competence in providing client care, and have a criminal history check conducted prior to being offered a position with the agency.
Compensation
This is a full-time role offering a competitive salary of $20-$23 per hour with weekend pay differential based on experience. Benefits include paid time off, 401(k) matching, and opportunities for growth and development.
