Athletics Groundskeeper

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Athletics Laborer. As a key member of our Parks and Recreation department, you will be responsible for maintaining the City's grounds, facilities, and equipment.

• Maintain designated City grounds, buildings, and structures, including Lampkin Park, Hobson Grove Park, Lovers Lane Soccer Facility, Kummer Little Recreation Center, and Carr Gymnasium.
• Perform manual tasks and operate assorted equipment for the assigned department.
• Keep playing fields and courts ready for play, clean restrooms and dugouts, pick up trash, mark off fields for game play, clean storage rooms and offices, and fill in batters boxes and pitchers mounds.
• Supervise youth and adult basketball practices and games during the winter months.

• Knowledge of rules and regulations for softball, baseball, basketball, and volleyball.
• Ability to operate field maintenance equipment.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• First Aid & CPR certification a plus.
• Age 18+.

This is a part-time position, working 20-25 hours per week, primarily evenings and weekends. Scheduled hours may vary in summer months.
