Job Summary

As a Medical Professional - Dermatology Specialist, you will provide health care services on a full-time or part-time basis in an owned or affiliated healthcare entity of Penn Medicine or The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. You will work closely with our team of skilled professionals to deliver high-quality patient care, while also contributing to the academic mission of our department through teaching and research.

Our Department of Dermatology at the University of Pennsylvania has a long history of excellence and innovation. With a strong focus on both clinical care and research, we offer a dynamic and stimulating environment that fosters growth and development for our faculty and staff.

Responsibilities

  • Provide inpatient hospital services as required and fulfill all medico-administrative duties associated with membership on each hospital medical staff of which clinician is a member.
  • Participate in a minimum of 50 hours per year of active and high-quality teaching or equivalent service.
  • Perform prompt, courteous, and competent professional services in accordance with generally accepted professional standards for such services and with the standards established from time to time.
  • Maintain a license to practice medicine without restriction or limitation in Pennsylvania or location of affiliates, if applicable.

Requirements

  • Must have an M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. degree or equivalent degree.
  • PA licensure (without restrictions) and DEA licensure required.
  • Board certified or board eligible in Dermatology.
  • 0-1 year of experience.

Working Conditions

The successful candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of professionalism at all times. Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Location

The position is located at the Perelman School of Medicine, University of Pennsylvania, in Radnor, PA.

Salary Range

$120,000 - $220,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
