We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Barback Associate to join our team at Loews Hotels. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our bartenders and beverage servers, ensuring that our guests receive top-notch service and an unforgettable experience.
Key Responsibilities- Support Bartenders and Beverage Servers: Provide assistance with stocking service areas, maintaining adequate supplies, and cleaning and stocking glassware.
- Inventory Management: Participate in monthly inventory, ensuring that all beverages and operating supplies are accurately recorded and replenished as needed.
- Supply Management: Stock and maintain supplies in all service areas, ensuring that our team has everything they need to deliver exceptional service.
- Service Excellence: Assist with the service of beverages, transportation of food trays, and cleaning of public areas, maintaining a high level of cleanliness and sanitation.
- Teamwork: Promote and apply teamwork skills at all times, working collaboratively with our team to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
- Guest Interaction: Greet guests in a polite and professional manner, determining their needs and suggesting beverages to enhance their experience.
- Inventory and Supplies: Inventories all beverages and operating supplies, orders replacement items as needed, and performs all closing duties, securing all inventory and supplies.
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: One + years of experience as a Barback in a high-volume, upscale hotel or free-standing lounge environment.
- Certifications: Certified Food Service Manager, TIPS, or equivalent.
- Skills: Exceptional guest service skills, ability to stand, stoop, bend, and lift items weighing up to 50 pounds repetitively during an entire shift, effective leadership, management, organizational, and communication skills.
This role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with varying schedules to reflect business needs. The ideal candidate will be able to stand, stoop, bend, and lift items weighing up to 50 pounds repetitively during an entire shift.
