About This Role

Vertafore is seeking a skilled Cloud Computing Support Specialist to join our DaaS support team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting customers who run the Vertafore Desktop as a Service (DaaS) in Amazon Web Services (AWS).

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide top-notch support to customers who use our Desktop as a Service (DaaS) in Amazon Web Services (AWS)
  • Ensure the smooth operation of customers' email system at Office 365
  • Set up and support Microsoft products - Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy and Microsoft Office Products
  • Configure and maintain firewalls and VPN connections
  • Work with antivirus solutions
  • Willingness to work closely with end-users to troubleshoot cloud, virtual desktop, local hardware, and peripheral devices
  • Apply quality control and quality assurance principles
  • Strong self-starting attitude
  • Learns quickly and works well with other members of the team to complete customer projects
  • Exceptional interpersonal and customer service experience required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Requirements

  • Amazon Web Services experience: Concepts
  • Office 365 tenant experience: Support, administration, and maintenance
  • Microsoft: Windows 10, Windows Server 2012/2016/2019, Office products
  • Firewall experience: Cisco ASA and Fortinet FortiGate
  • Wireless experience: General wireless knowledge
  • Experience with Microsoft server operating systems and services, including Active Directory, File and Print, IIS, SQL, WSUS, permissions, and security a plus
  • Experience with enterprise backup and disaster recovery technology and methodology
  • Strong technical skills

Salary Range: $58,000 - $68,000 per year
