Job Summary:
The Northwest Medical Ctr - Bentonville is seeking a skilled and experienced Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist to join our team. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to patients in a fast-paced hospital environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine diagnostic CT scanning procedures, including CT of head/brain, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen/pelvis, extremities, and biopsy/drainage procedures.
- Operate CT scanners and other imaging equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
- Prepare patients for imaging procedures, including explaining procedures, positioning patients, and ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely diagnosis and treatment of patients.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient imaging procedures and results.
Requirements:
- At least 1 year of experience in CT and X-ray imaging.
- Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) and licensure by the state as a general radiographer.
- Knowledge of CT system processing, surgical/sterile procedures, and cross-sectional anatomy.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
Work Schedule:
This is a night shift position, working Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and every other Thursday (7P-7A).
