RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Hematology Oncology Nurse Practitioner to join our team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide exceptional patient care and management for children with cancer and blood disorders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess and manage patients with cancer and blood disorders in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including chemotherapy agents, symptom management, and patient education.
  • Work collaboratively with nursing and pharmacy leadership to ensure timely communication of chemotherapy treatment plans and infusion schedules.
  • Provide education and support to patients and families regarding treatment plans and disease management.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of nursing standards and patient education materials.
Requirements:
  • Current New Jersey Registered Nurse License.
  • Current New Jersey Advanced Practiced Nursing License.
  • Master's degree in pediatric or family nursing with prescriptive privileges.
  • 2+ years of related clinical experience in acute care nursing.
  • Related national NP certification.
  • BLS certification.
  • PALS certification.
  • APHON chemotherapy certified.
  • CPHON preferred.
