We are seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team at Soliant, a leading educational staffing company. As a Speech-Language Pathologist in a school setting, you will be responsible for conducting evaluations and re-evaluations of students, setting IEP goals, and collaborating with a Speech Pathology Assistant on therapy activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of new referrals and periodic re-evaluations of students, adhering to District guidelines
  • Develop and implement IEP goals, participating in IEP meetings to ensure student progress
  • Collaborate with a Speech Pathology Assistant on therapy activities, providing guidance and support as needed
  • Schedule observations of the assistant's services to ensure quality and effectiveness
  • Communicate student progress to parents and staff, maintaining open and transparent communication
  • Review the assistant's progress notes and other documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness

Requirements:

  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with students, parents, and staff
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • South Carolina SLP license and a certificate from the South Carolina Department of Education
