Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Medical Specimen Collector to join our team at Quest Diagnostics Incorporated. As a key member of our phlebotomy team, you will be responsible for collecting blood specimens from patients in a variety of settings, including hospitals, clinics, and laboratories.

Responsibilities:

* Collect blood specimens from patients using a variety of techniques, including venipuncture and capillary puncture.
* Ensure accurate and efficient specimen collection, processing, and transportation to the laboratory for testing.
* Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
* Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and specimen collection.

Requirements:

* High school diploma or equivalent required; medical training or certification preferred.
* One year of phlebotomy experience preferred; customer service experience in a retail or service environment also preferred.
* Ability to effectively communicate in English and navigate a computer to accurately enter data.
