Bickford Senior Living is seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Medication Technician to join our team. As a Medication Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our residents by accurately administering medications and providing exceptional care.
Responsibilities:- Accurately follow resident MARs to ensure medications are administered according to physician orders.
- Understand and follow the Six Rights of Medication Administration and all Bickford policies and procedures regarding medication management.
- Utilize the eMAR system for medication administration and communicate effectively with clinical leadership for clarification and direction.
- Provide direct resident care and supervise non-licensed team members as needed.
- Lead by example, demonstrating the Bickford Mission 'Whatever it Takes' to all team members on shift.
- Active CNA License in good standing or at least one year of experience in senior care.
- Approved Medication Manager Certificate from the Department of Inspection and Appeals.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- CPR and First Aid certifications.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and possess excellent communication and organizational skills.
