We are seeking a highly skilled Mental Health Specialist to join our team at The GEO Group, Inc. This is a challenging yet rewarding role that requires a high level of expertise in providing mental health services to inmates.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing basic therapy modalities and levels of care to inmates, including group therapy sessions and individual consultations. They will also coordinate services with other departments and staff members to ensure seamless delivery of care.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be expected to:
- Provide mental health therapy and counseling services to inmates.
- Coordinate services with collateral departments and staff.
- Assess, diagnose, and intervene in cases of clinical need.
- Schedule clients according to departmental policies and directives.
- Document client data accurately and efficiently.
Requirements and Qualifications
To be considered for this position, applicants must possess a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology, Counseling, or Social Work, with a minimum of three years of experience in a similar role. A valid LPCC or LPC license is also required.
A competitive salary package, including an estimated $75,000 - $95,000 per annum, is offered to successful candidates. In addition, employees enjoy a range of benefits, including comprehensive insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
